If you want to start a career working as a security officer in the state of NJ, you must get SORA certified.
The process to get NJ SORA certified includes the following:
You must apply for a temporary certificate on the NJ State Police website. This is the link to the NJ State Police website where all the information regarding SORA can be found https://www.njsp.org/private-detective/sora.shtml
Once you have completed your SORA application you only have 30 days to then make an appointment to get fingerprinted and complete the 24 hour SORA training class with an approved instructor.
Full Circle Training is approved through the State Police to provide the 24 hour initial and 8 hour renewal SORA trainings.
Since you only have 30 days to complete your training and fingerprinting once you have completed your NJ SORA application with the State Police we strongly recommend that you first register for a training class through our website and then apply for your temporary certificate prior to the start of the class. Make sure you print out your temporary certificate and bring it to class with you.
Go to the NJ State Police website and complete the renewal process as instructed. The link to the SORA information page is here
You can apply for your renewal anytime within 90 days of your certificate expiration.
Once you have applied for your renewal with the State Police check our Upcoming Classes schedule to sign up for one of our SORA renewal classes.
